Pokemon + Nobunaga’s Ambition, a new mash-up SRPG coming from Nintendo and Tecmo Koei.

Everyone expected this weekend’s rumored reveal for the latest entry of the catch-em-all series to be Pokemon Gray, but this weird thing is way more interesting!

If you’re unfamiliar with Koei’s original Nobunaga’s Ambition, it was a well-received strategy title that took place during Japan’s Sengoku/Warring States period — a popular setting for games lately, so it isn’t that much of a surprise that Nintendo wants to experiment with this era.

But mixing it with Pokemon? Yeah, that shit cray.
